About This Story

When Major, an All-State Hockey goalie, collapsed unexpectedly from a highly developed brain tumor, doctors were unsure that he would ever be able to walk or talk again. However, physical therapy, top-notch healthcare, and incredible determination have helped Major make remarkable strides towards recovery. His dad talks about how acupuncture, along with surgical interventions, helped Major regain movement in his face, a particularly difficult part of the rehabilitation.
